Trademark
A mark, which is used only in association with goods, is classified as a trademark. It must fulfill the characteristics defined by the laws, which include both the appearance and the purpose of its use.

Patent
It is classified into various types; there are inventions, which are an invention or a creation resulting in a new product or process, or any act which makes the improvement of a product or a process. While product design is any configuration or a product or composition of lines or colors, which gives a special appearance to a product and serves as a patter of industrial or handicraft product.
